New appointment in Germany for Ginetta Italy and Nova Race this weekend to partecipate at two important events. On Eifel hills will be the legendary 24 Hours of Nürburgring, a race that sees on the starting grid more than 200 cars, from the most powerful GT to the more quiet Touring Cars along the 25 kms of old Nordschelife, the most technical and difficult racetrack in the world. Ginetta Italy will be there with one Ginetta G50 driven by the works Ginetta UK driver Michael Simpson, by Matteo Cressoni (provisional leader of Ginetta G50 Cup Italia) and by Tiziano Frazza. For Simpson/Cressoni/Frazza the racing weekend will start on Thursday 17 May with a double free practice sessions scheduled at 11.30 and 13.30 while the first qualifying session will see the drivers on track in the late evening, from 19.30 to 23.30. On Friday morning second qualifying session (09.35-11.35) while from 18 to 18.50 the ‘Top 40 Qualifying’ drivers will fight to improve their starting position. After a long pre-grid, the 24 Hours will start on Saturday afternoon at 16.
